  1. Hi Molly, I too am enjoying free motion quilting on my 750 QE! I am wondering what kind of thread you use and at what weight? Thanks, Elizabeth

  2. Molly I want to say thank you for your help. I first saw you on the TV
program, Sewing with Nancy, and really liked what I saw. I have been quilting for about 10 years but only did straight line quilting with my walking foot. You convinced me that day that I could do fmq which had been desire of mine for a long time. You said that day that stippling was not the easiest thing to do which was contrary to what everyone else had told me. But when I tried it ,I always found myself stuck in a corner. Since that day, I have purchased your book and have free motion quilted a baby sized quilt and a wall hanging. They are not perfect but it is a beginning and I am so happy. Thank you so much. 1. Hello Mae! I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your kind words- you have know idea how much it means to me to hear I have helped you. I am so glad you got past your stumbling blocks and fear to give it an honest try and find success... that is just so heartwarming. There is no better feeling then learning a new and highly prized skill, you are becoming a better quilter and finding joy all at once, keep on learning and the sky is the limit for you. All the very best!

  3. Hello Molly:
I saw you on Sewing with Nancy about a month ago and was inspired on what you have done. I even bought your book titled "Free-Motion quilting for beginners" and also a couple of Angela Walters books but I am discouraged because my free motion quilting is just awful! Nothing as compared to what you have done. I could not understand some instructions on how to do the designs from Angela Walters' books. I could not even find her email address to ask her about that. I am not a young person but I try to do what I should have learned years ago. I am 88 years old but I've been trying for years without any help because I'm hearing impaired and no one seems to know anything! Can I hear from you? Your comments I notice is dated in 2015, two years ago! Thank you.
